ZF Electronics is a world leader in power train and chassis technology and acquired TRW Automotive on May 20, 2015. ZF Switches currently has 230 offices in 40 countries. Since 2014, both companies have operated independently. The group has achieved sales targets of more than 30 billion euros and has about 134,000 employees. The Industrial Solutions (IS) product line in the electrical systems business develops and manufactures electromechanical components, in particular snap switches, panel mount switches, rocker / sealed rocker switches, full range of sensor products and energy harvesting wireless products. Target customers of the Industrial Solutions product line include, but are not limited to, non-automotive equipment such as consumer electronics, HVAC, medical equipment, agricultural and commercial equipment, and sport powered vehicle (marine and RV) OEMs and distributors.
